Affiliate and Advertising Disclosure

Where we stand today

BullionMetric has no affiliate, referral or commercial relationship with any precious metals dealer, and no advertising on the site. We earn nothing when you click through to a dealer or buy from one.

How our rankings work

Prices come from each dealer's public listings, collected daily. Comparisons and rankings follow a fixed method that's the same for every dealer, and no dealer can pay to change them. Our State of Retail Bullion Premiums report sets out the method in full.

If we join affiliate programs

We expect to join affiliate programs with some dealers. When we do, we'll list each one on this page with the date it began, and mark that dealer wherever it appears in a comparison. An affiliate relationship will never change a ranking, a price comparison or a published finding, and we'll publish unflattering results about a partner on the same terms as anyone else.

If we add advertising

We plan to show ads, for example through Google AdSense. When we do, we'll say so here. Ads will be labelled as ads, and advertisers won't influence our data or our rankings.
